On average women make 80 cents in comparison to a non-Hispanic white male. The disparity is more considerable for women of color. For Latinas, it's 54 cents, for Native women, it's 58 cents, and for Black women, it's 62 cents. At 87 cents, Asian women have the slimmest pay gap but suffer from unique barriers that prevent them from executive decision-making positions.
On March 24th, All Women's Equal Pay Day, the WOCITW community is coming together to explore ways to alleviate the pay gap by hosting a discussion with a few of our leading companies at the center of the conversation.
